College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving is seeking a Mover in Greensboro, NC. You will be the first point of contact, educating clients about our services and ensuring 110% satisfaction while safely operating the moving truck.

Responsibilities include friendly client interaction, learning rapport-building techniques, pricing education before estimates, and leading a team on daily operations. No experience is required.”

Responsibilities

• SAFELY operate at all times.
• Perform daily truck inspections (tire pressure, oil, equipment).
• Ensure truck has receipts, safety equipment, and marketing material.
• Price jobs aggressively and meet benchmarks.
• Make logistical decisions for disposing/donating/recycling and loading a truck.
• Lead by example and train new hires on daily operations and core values.
• Prevent costly mistakes and ensure client satisfaction.
• Check-in with supervisor for additional tasks and troubleshooting.

As a Mover for College Hunks Hauling Junk and College Hunks Moving, you are the first point of contact for clients on the job.

Responsibilities

1. Go out of your way to be friendly (smile, eye contact, small‑talk) to everyone whom you come in contact with throughout the day – especially your clients.
2. Look, act and become a friendly college hunk – starting with the uniform (shirt tucked in, hat straight, pants at the waist), and continuing with your attitude (smiles and eye contact).
3. Educate clients about pricing and services and the benefit to them prior to giving an estimate, ensuring 110% satisfaction.
4. SAFELY operate at all times.
5. Make sure all daily truck inspections are performed (tire pressure, oil, equipment, etc).
6. Make sure the truck has enough receipts, safety equipment, and marketing material.
7. Price jobs aggressively, meeting and surpassing benchmarks.
8. Be able to make logistical decisions (when to dispose of, what to donate or recycle, how to best complete a job, how to package items and load a truck, how to market during downtime).
9. Lead your team by relevant examples, showing them what the core values of the company are all about.
10. Help to train new hires about the day to day operations and core values.
11. Prevent careless and costly mistakes, including damage, injury, unhappy clients, lost equipment, etc.
12. Check‑in regularly throughout the day with direct supervisor for additional assignments and troubleshooting guidance

Compensation: $17 to $20 + tips

Each CHHJ location is independently owned and operated by a franchisee. Your application will go directly to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of that franchise.
