Our growing moving company is looking for strong and professional movers to join our team. You’ll follow the manager's work orders and customer requests to safely load, transport, and unload a variety of items for our residential and commercial clients. You should love doing something different every day and take pride in a job well done.

Responsibilities

• Lift and transport heavy items repeatedly without damaging them.
• Ability to pad and wrap furniture.
• Be customer-focused on every job.
• Enjoy being a part of a team.
• Ability to follow company operational and safety procedures.
• Professional attitude and communication with all customers and teammates.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items repeatedly (100+ lbs).
• Ability to climb stairs, maintain balance, and walk long distances while carrying items.
• Protect furniture with moving blankets or plastic wrap.
• Verify no items are missing with client and team members before leaving.
• Confirm work orders and communicate with client on moving preferences.
• Arrange the moving truck with items that need to be moved.
• Lift a variety of fragile, large, and heavy items without damaging them.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• General labor experience is preferred, but not required (Move Indy will provide paid training).
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must be 18+.
• Reliable, collaborative, excellent communication and customer service skills are a must.
• Driver’s license and clean driving record is required.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.

Compensation

$17 - $20 hourly
