IXL Learning is seeking a Professional Learning Manager, PD Design and Onboarding to lead the Professional Learning Design team and oversee development of customer-facing PD and internal onboarding for the Professional Learning Group. This is a full-time remote position for candidates in the United States.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years delivering PD to K-12 educators, 2+ years managing high-performing teams, and exceptional writing/editing skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting core curriculum and assessment adoptions preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Set the vision and priorities for the Professional Learning Design team.
  • Create, review, and edit professional development materials for clarity and consistency.
  • Maintain quality standards for writing, design, and formatting across materials.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Professional Development Designers.
  • Lead multiple concurrent projects with shifting priorities and changing business needs.
  • Oversee onboarding for new Professional Learning employees and development of onboarding materials.
  • Collaborate with Product, Curriculum, and Marketing to deliver ongoing product training.

## Professional Learning Manager, PD Design and Onboarding### RemoteIXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a Professional Learning Manager, PD Design and Onboarding to lead the IXL Professional Development Design team and oversee the development of customer-facing PD and internal onboarding for the Professional Learning Group. #LI-EM1In this role, you will lead a team of Professional Development Designers responsible for creating, maintaining, and continuously improving professional development materials. You will also oversee the onboarding and ongoing training of the Professional Learning Group, ensuring the team has the training, resources, and support needed to succeed.We are looking for an experienced manager who is an exceptional writer and editor with a passion for creating clear, engaging trainings. The ideal candidate is highly organized, provides thoughtful feedback, and is skilled at developing exceptional professional development experiences for educators.This is a full-time remote position for candidates in the United States.#### WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING* Set the vision and priorities for the Professional Learning Design team* Create, review, and edit professional development materials to ensure clarity and consistency* Maintain quality standards for writing, design, and formatting across all materials* Manage and mentor a team of Professional Development Designers* Lead multiple concurrent projects, effectively managing competing priorities and adapting to changing business needs* Oversee onboarding for new Professional Learning employees, including the development and maintenance of onboarding materials* Partner closely with other Professional Learning managers to gain feedback and insight to improve professional development and internal trainings* Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Curriculum, and Marketing teams to identify, create, and deliver ongoing product training#### WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR* Bachelor's degree required.* 5+ years of experience in a role where creating and delivering professional development to k-12 educators was the primary focus* 2+ years of experience managing and developing high-performing teams* Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills* Experience supporting core curriculum and assessment adoptions strongly preferred* Adaptable and comfortable managing ambiguity and shifting priorities* Creative thinker and problem-solver* Excellent interpersonal skills - dynamic, enthusiastic, upbeat individual who connects well with others and has a positive, collaborative attitude* Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented; ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently, from start to finish* Passion for education and helping others learn and grow#### ABOUT IXL LEARNINGIXL Learning is the country's largest EdTech company.
