Job summary

IXL Learning is seeking a Professional Learning Lead to manage a small Texas-based team of District Partnership Specialists and Professional Learning Specialists. You will oversee professional development and district implementations across Texas, while directly supporting a subset of district accounts and collaborating with sales to grow relationships.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience leading a PD team, with K-12 teaching experience, strong presentation and interpersonal skills,

IXL Learning, a developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a Professional Learning Lead to manage a small team within Texas. #LI-EM1As a Professional Learning Lead, you’ll lead, manage, and motivate a small team of District Partnership Specialists and Professional Learning Specialists. You’ll oversee professional development and district implementations across Texas, ensuring districts receive exceptional, consistent support that drives IXL usage and student growth. In addition to managing a small team, you’ll own a small number of district accounts yourself, working directly with districts to support their implementation and deliver professional development. #LI-REMOTEWe are looking for an experienced team lead who has led and developed teams focused on implementation support and professional development for K-12 educators. You must be highly organized, well-spoken, strategic, and eager to lead and develop a collaborative, high-energy team. #LI-TEXASThis is a full-time remote position for candidates living in Texas.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Stay informed on statewide initiatives impacting K-12 schools and districts within Texas, and ensure IXL implementations and professional development are alignedCreate and maintain a positive culture that drives performance and outcomesCollaborate closely with the sales team to strategize and grow customer relationships in TexasPartner with district leaders in Texas to create and implement a professional development plan that supports a successful IXL implementation aligned to their goalsTravel to support districts, provide professional development, and observe team members—up to 60% possible travel during back-to-school season and up to 40% the remainder of the yearRegularly observe professional development and provide actionable feedback to your teamAnalyze and use data to drive decision-making and strategize next steps
