Professional Learning Facilitator – Southeast

Base Pay Range

$75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year

Purpose of the Role

Deliver engaging professional learning sessions—both in‑person and online—to equip educators with the skills and knowledge needed to maximize student success and foster a love of math.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate high‑impact learning sessions across diverse settings, with a 90% travel requirement and flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
  • Plan all training logistics, coordinating travel, setting up demonstration accounts, and reviewing prior session notes to ensure readiness.
  • Use strategic questioning to engage participants and deepen learning.
  • Share Zearn’s research and results, helping educators see how our approach accelerates learning and closes skill gaps.
  • Collaborate with the Partnerships Team for follow‑up and ensure questions are answered clearly during and after sessions.
  • Capture and disseminate detailed summaries of session outcomes to inform future partner engagements.
  • Analyze feedback and survey data to continuously improve your facilitation practice.
Developing Expertise
  • Build and maintain deep knowledge of Zearn’s products, research foundation, and implementation model.
  • Participate in ongoing facilitator training to master PD content, delivery approaches, and new product updates.
  • Internalize content through regular study, practice, feedback, and revision, individually and with the team.
Surfacing Educator Insights
  • Share key takeaways, questions, and patterns from the field to deepen internal understanding of educator experiences.
  • Surface trends, reactions, and opportunities related to strategic focus areas and key product features.
  • Help steer inquiries that strengthen how Zearn supports educators over time.
Success Measures
  • Professional learning sessions consistently earn strong partner feedback and satisfaction.
  • Meet readiness benchmarks and demonstrate growing mastery and independence in foundational training sessions.
  • Prioritize educator‑facing time to maximize learning impact.
  • Maintain a record of delivering at least 99% of all scheduled training sessions on time.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of K‑8 math teaching experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience leading professional learning for teachers and/or leaders.
  • Strong personal organization, team collaboration, written and verbal communication, teaching and persuading skills, problem‑solving, and the ability to generate actionable insights.
Work Style

  • Own deliverables in close partnership with the Academic Team.
  • Support other departmental functions through collaborative influence.
Travel & Location

Up to 90% travel weekly, year‑round, and participation in an annual team‑building meeting. Open to candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone (North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Virginia, or the Washington, D.C. metro area) with proximity to a major U.S. airport to accommodate frequent national travel.
