Job summary

Alcal Specialty Contracting, Inc. is seeking an experienced insulation installer for a full-time, hourly position in Albuquerque, NM.

Responsibilities include ensuring materials and equipment are ready, driving to job sites, unloading insulation, and installing per standards. Candidates should have a valid New Mexico driver’s license, ability to lift 75+ lbs, use staple guns and hand tools, and work safely in scaffolding and tight spaces.

Qualifications

• Valid NM driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift in excess of 75 lbs and crawl in tight spaces.
• Experience using staple gun, hammer and utility knife.
• Ability to work on scaffolding.
• Regular attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Assures there is sufficient and appropriate material and equipment on truck to complete the insulation job.
• Drives to and from the job site and unloads insulation materials at the job site.
• Installs insulation per company standards and manufacturer’s guidelines.
• Checks work for errors and corrects them as needed.
• Accounts for material and time used on each job, and reports paperwork daily.
• Adheres to all safety rules and reports hazardous conditions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
