Job summary

Harborview Health Systems in Georgia is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, hygienic, and comforting environment for residents and staff. In this role you will perform routine and deep cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and hallways, restock supplies, and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.

As a faith-based organization, our mission is to care for the caregiver so they can care for our residents.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or custodial experience preferred (healthcare or hospitality setting a plus).
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning tools and procedures is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and deep cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and facility hallways to maintain a hygienic, presentable, and comfortable environment
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces according to cleaning schedules and protocols
• Replenish supplies such as linens, toiletries, and cleaning products in designated areas
• Dispose of trash and soiled linens appropriately and according to infection control procedures
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate department
• Duties as assigned
