Job summary

Huntington Village Homes is seeking a diligent Housekeeper to clean residential and common areas across multiple facilities, including clubhouses and pool areas. You will perform daily cleaning tasks, maintain high standards of hygiene, and assist with related duties as needed to support management.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience, ability to work independently or in a team, and the physical capability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of solid previous work history
• Experience in the cleaning facilities field preferred
• Experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision as well as in a team
• Able to perform outdoor work in all weather conditions and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Self-motivated, team player with attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual attendance are essential

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sweeps, vacuums, and mops floors, hallways, glass, and stairways
• Spot cleans walls for finger and scuff marks
• Waxes floors monthly as applicable
• Empties all trash receptacles and recycling bins
• Fully cleans all bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, counters, showers, and bathtubs
• Cleans windows, doors, walls, and fixtures
• Dusts, makes beds, washes linens, organizes living areas
• Cleans exterior windows and light fixtures and sets trash out for collection
• Regularly inspects vacant units to ensure cleanliness and odorlessness
• Disinfects and sanitizes areas as needed
• Informs supervisor of damages requiring repair
• Cleans dedicated areas including offices and common spaces
