Job summary

Elder's Ace Handyman is seeking a skilled handyman in Cleveland, TN to perform small project repairs across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and tile work. The role emphasizes professional customer interaction, accurate estimates, and adherence to safety standards.

You will inspect sites, present repair options, complete service details in our software, and ensure timely, high-quality workmanship in a customer-friendly manner.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ work experience in a maintenance or construction position, preferably involving customer interaction where you regularly performed the trades mentioned above with minimal or no supervision.
• Up-to-date knowledge of OSHA and safety standards. Comfortable using office technology.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality; reliable and presentable work vehicle required.
• Strong time management skills with consistency in meeting project deadlines.
• Physical requirements: able to lift 75 lbs, climb, reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel, crawl, stand and walk throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Professionally and promptly interact with customers. Confirm appointment with customer the day before and arrive on-time, in uniform, neatly groomed.
• Physically inspect customer premises with focus on preventive maintenance, assess repairs, prepare estimates and present options to customer.
• Perform routine maintenance to company standards; follow safety practices and promote safe working conditions.
• Enter complete service details in company software for accurate billing.
