Silgan Plastics in Ohio is seeking a forklift operator to safely move materials, load and unload trailers, and maintain accurate inventory through scanning. The role requires adherence to safety guidelines and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and be eligible for a forklift license. Physical stamina to lift up to 35 lbs continuously is required.

Formación

• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds continuously.
• Must understand and follow safety rules and guidelines from forklift training.
• Must read and understand scanning equipment procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a forklift safely and responsibly.
• Transport finished goods and raw materials as directed.
• Load/unload semi-trailers and complete required paperwork.
• Maintain inventory status via scans or logs.
• Keep work areas clean and safe; report hazards.
• Communicate professionally with supervisor and co-workers.
