Job summary

Pasadena City College is seeking a part-time coordinator to support leadership programs and student organizations. You will assist interns, coordinate events, and promote engagement platforms among diverse student groups.

This role requires current enrollment in a Master’s or Doctoral program and experience working with diverse communities, with duties emphasizing program assessment and developing student skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s or Doctoral program in education, student affairs, or counseling.
• Completed at least one graduate semester of coursework.
• Experience working with diverse communities (including LGBTQ, Undocumented, and Socioeconomic status).
• Must work in a dynamic environment, where flexibility is a must.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with assessment of programs and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Cardinal and Gold Leadership programs.
• Coordinate OSL/ASPCC programs (movie nights, relaxation week).
• Provide support and resources to Inter-club council, student clubs, and organizations.
• Assist OSL Student Interns in developing their skills.
• Provide support and resources to the Associated Students of PCC.
• Promotion of LancerLife, students engagement platform.
• Support the Leadership and Cross-Cultural Retreats.
• Assess programs and student learning outcomes.

HOURLY RATE: $23.00/hr

May work between 20 to 40 hours per week

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

• Coordination of Cardinal and Gold Leadership programs
• Coordination of OSL/ASPCC programs (movie nights, relaxation week)
• Provide support and resources to Inter-club council, student clubs, and organizations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Master's or Doctoral program at an accredited institution of higher education in the field of education, student affairs, or counseling
• Must have completed at least one or more semester of coursework in their graduate program
• Experience working with diverse communities (including LGBTQ, Undocumented, and Socioeconomic status)
• Must work in a dynamic environment, where flexibility is a must
• Must have knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with assessment of programs and outcomes
