Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Professional Engineer with Civil/Structural emphasis to design support for precast products and production packages. The role involves leading drafters, collaborating with sales and production, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

The position is onsite at facilities in Dallas, TX, with responsibilities across engineering projects, installations support, and continuous improvements in manufacturing processes.

Qualificações

• BS in Civil/Structural Eng required.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 1 year desired.
• Experience with concrete design / precast design preferred; other structural disciplines ok.

Job Summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is currently seeking a Professional Engineer with an emphasis in Civil / Structural Engineering. This position will involve performing engineering designs in support of estimates, submittal packages and production of precast products.

Job Location

• This position will be onsite at one of our facilities in Dallas, TX, Houston, TX, San Antonio, TX, or Buda, TX.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with Leadership and CAD Operators in support of sales and production
• Lead and guide a small team of drafters and an engineer
• Support installation of engineered products in assigned region
• Work on various engineering projects in support of sales as well as continuous improvements in manufacturing, process, shipping, handling, and installation
• Prepare calculations and drawings for precast products
• Work with the Quality Control Department to ensure precast products are manufactured in accordance with Oldcastle’s Quality Control Program
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Registered Professional Engineer, or able to obtain within a year
• Previous experience in concrete design / precast design (preferred) – other structural disciplines acceptable
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, and be able to perform structural concrete designs
• Ability to use a variety of software programs, including AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Products, MathCAD, SAP2000
• Organization and communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to take initiative
• Ability to interact with customers, managers, engineers, drafters, and other employees to resolve engineering and management related issues
