Job description

Our client is looking for a Professional Engineer to join the team to be the Supervising Professional Engineer over power distribution projects! The purpose of this role is to apply technical and engineering skills to design complex projects and provide expertise in safe, cost effective and reliable distribution power facilities for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Perform complex engineering calculations to determine appropriate solutions for distribution projects for Investor Owned Utilities, Cooperatives, Municipals, and non-Utility customers. The position will have key involvement in the quality compliance and quality assurance processes for the distribution design function.

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering from An Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited college.
• PE certification or ability to obtain in the next 6 months
• 5+ years of design/fielding/supervising/QC experience in the power distribution space
