Off Leash K9 Training, LLC, the fastest growing dog training company in the country, is seeking a new trainer in Rochester, NY. The position is demanding and challenging. The trainer will handle animal training and client interactions.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Reside in or around Rochester, NY.
• Be able to board at least 2 dogs at your residence for 14 days at a time.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Have a smartphone.
• Have knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, etc.).
• Complete a 17‑day certification process at the OLK9 Training Facility in Northern Virginia.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

• Handle and train small and large breeds from puppy to adult.
• Work with dogs requiring behavior modification from anxiety to aggression.
• Interact with the public in a professional manner.
• Drive to appointments throughout the Rochester area.
• Engage in continuing education to increase skills in training dogs and coaching owners.
• Attend public relations events.
• Maintain self‑motivation and proactive engagement.

Ideal Candidate

Strong work ethic, reliability, honesty, and a passion for dogs are essential. Candidates should possess computer skills with the ability to create dog‑training videos, be able to work during peak traffic periods on weekdays and weekends, and have excellent customer service and communication skills.
