Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, graduate of a professional diving school, and at least two years of underwater experience. The position emphasizes logbook upkeep and adherence to safety and government regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a professional diving school.
• Minimum two years of underwater work experience.
• Ability to pass the Diver 3 test with a score of at least 80%.
• Documented 100 days minimum field diving experience.
• Ability to pass an annual diving physical.

Responsibilities

• Accomplishes tasks assigned by the Diving Supervisor and informs supervisor if not qualified.
• Reads and complies with all policies and regulations related to diving operations.
• Maintains, tests, and repairs diving equipment before each dive.
• Keeps a detailed diver’s logbook of dives, medicals, courses, and equipment maintenance.
• Maintains current first aid and CPR certifications.
• Complies with QMS processes and completes administrative duties as assigned.
