Child Start seeks a Professional Development Specialist to design and deliver engaging early childhood PD for educators, providers, and families. You will research best practices, develop trainings, and support centers with practical skills to improve child outcomes.
Responsibilities include coaching, ensuring licensing knowledge, and coordinating with state partners. Must hold a relevant bachelor's degree and be able to work in the community, with bilingual abilities preferred.

The Specialist researches, designs, and delivers engaging professional development opportunities that equip early childhood professionals with practical skills and current industry knowledge. They also provide consultation and guidance to child care centers, family child care providers, preschools, and families, helping address a variety of child development and early education concerns through collaborative, solution-focused support.

Child Start's Professional Development Specialist is $19.00 per hour, 20 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
