Job summary

BlueChip Pros is seeking a skilled janitorial professional to maintain clean and sanitary facilities in our assigned buildings. The role includes high dusting, sanitizing surfaces, bathroom cleaning, floor care, and general grounds maintenance.

Responsibilities emphasize following safety procedures, using proper cleaning agents, and maintaining a quiet, respectful presence in occupied spaces. You will work alongside a supervisor to keep areas tidy and presentable throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of janitorial safety practices.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
• Reading and following written instructions and safety data sheets.

Responsibilities

• High dusting of surfaces above shoulder height. Clean using a high duster in a counter-clockwise direction.
• Sanitize surfaces below shoulder height and spot-clean windows and door handles.
• Bathroom cleaning: sanitize, clean fixtures, refill dispensers daily and dispose of trash.
• Floor care: dust mop, vacuum and clean under furniture; mop floors in back-to-front sequence.
• Grounds care and general cleanliness of common areas, including wiping benches and cleaning glass as needed.
• Inspect rooms after cleaning to ensure furniture is in place and areas are free of dust and debris.
• Provide courteous customer interactions and report any issues to supervisor.
