Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean is seeking on-site custodial staff in Sterling, Illinois to create cleaner and healthier environments for customers’ buildings and grounds. The role involves performing cleaning duties across facilities using provided products and following established procedures.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, restroom cleaning, windows, dusting, and maintaining supplies. On-the-job training is provided; must be reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools and procedures
• Sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom cleaning, windows, dusting
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
• Use proper PPE where required
• Opens and locks facilities, enable and disable security system as required.
