A transportation service provider in Ypsilanti seeks a part-time Driver to safely transport clients. The role requires a valid driver's and chauffeur's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to assist clients with mobility. Key responsibilities include planning routes, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and ensuring client satisfaction. Work hours are flexible, primarily during the day, Monday to Friday with some weekends. Competitive pay starts at $16.75 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip.
• Pick up clients from the place and at the time they’ve requested.
• Ensure required paperwork is completed and returned to the office.
• Assist clients with entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions.
• Ensure the van seats are clean and comfortable for all riders.

Skills

Proven experience as a Driver

A valid driver’s license

A chauffeur's license

A clean driving record

Familiarity with GPS devices

Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods

Ability to lift heavy packages and equipment

A polite and professional disposition

Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening

Full range of motion for physical tasks

Ability to work flexible hours

Great communication skills

First Aid / CPR certification

Education
