About the Role

GUARDIAN ANGEL SENIOR SERVICES is looking to add a Caregiver to join our team who supports elderly residents in their homes with daily activities, ensuring safety and well-being by facilitating social interactions, therapeutic conversations, and secure environments. They should have a sensitive approach and knowledge of all resident care aspects, including state resident rights compliance.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervision & assistance in bathing, dressing/undressing, and other hygiene responsibilities.
• Assistance in mobility and encouragement to follow prescribed exercise programs (including ROM exercises and walking).
• Assistance in transferring clients from bed to chair or other equipment.
• Assistance in turning & repositioning clients as prescribed and care to pressure point areas (e.g., back rubs).
• Housekeeping: vacuuming, emptying trash, changing bed linens, maintaining a clean bathroom and kitchen.
• Laundry services.
• Shopping for groceries and other household requirements (not applicable for drivers).
• Meal preparation & serving to clients while following dietary requirements.
• Transportation when needed (e.g., taking clients to appointments or therapy; not applicable for drivers).
• Remind about medication & helping with pre-dosed ones.
• Continence care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
