Job summary

Gifford TV & Applaince is looking for an appliance installer to join our team. You will install, maintain, and repair a variety of appliances in residential and commercial settings, ensuring work meets manufacturer specs and local codes.

The ideal candidate will work independently, be detail-oriented, and deliver excellent customer service, arriving on time with the right tools and parts. We value safety, professionalism, and the ability to upsell maintenance plans when appropriate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ pounds) and climb ladders.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• To install, maintain, and repair a variety of appliances in both residential and commercial settings
• To ensure that all work is performed in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications and local building codes
• To provide excellent customer service by maintaining a positive attitude and professional appearance at all times
• To arrive to appointments on time and prepared with all necessary tools and parts
• To diagnose problems quickly and accurately and provide customers with cost-effective solutions
• To keep up to date on new products and installation techniques through ongoing training
• To properly document all work performed and maintain accurate records of time, materials, and invoices
• To upsell customers on extended warranties and maintenance plans when appropriate
• To cross-sell other services offered by the company when applicable
• To safely operate a company vehicle and maintain a clean driving record
• To adhere to all safety regulations while on the job
• To perform physical labor as required, including lifting heavy appliances and climbing ladders
