Job summary

The Learning Experience - Windermere is seeking a passionate Assistant Teacher to work with 1 to 1 1/2 year olds. You will help create a positive, engaging learning environment where happy happens here and children thrive academically and emotionally.

Responsibilities include implementing our LEAP Curriculum®, supporting growth and development, and communicating with parents to share progress and achievements. State licensing requirements apply.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree.
  • High school diploma or GED is required, higher education preferred.

As a Assistant Teacher, you will:
  • Create a welcoming, engaging classroom space for young children to learn, play and grow

  • Support your center’s success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.

Do You:
  • Have a genuine passion for the education and care of children?
  • Have one year of professional teaching experience (preferred) or six months of professional teaching experience (required)?
  • Have an associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree (preferred) or High school diploma/GED (required)?
