Kids First Preschool and Child Care Center #2 in Tucson, AZ is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced School Age Teacher to join our team part-time in the afternoons. This role offers an opportunity to impact children in a supportive environment while working a flexible afternoon schedule.

The ideal candidate will have experience with school-age children, strong classroom management, and a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card or the ability to obtain one.

Formación

• Experience with school-age children in childcare or education.
• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.
• Strong classroom management and behavior guidance skills.
• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain).
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Reliable, patient, and passionate about working with children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and engage school-age children in safe, structured afternoon programming.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, including homework help, arts and crafts, and recreational play.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages social and emotional development.

• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.
• Collaborate with fellow staff members to maintain a consistent and nurturing childcare experience.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and adhere to licensing and compliance standards.
