Your Every Need Residential in Cleveland, OH is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. You will provide personalized care, support daily living activities, and help individuals with disabilities achieve greater independence in a supportive environment.

Ideal candidates hold a HS diploma or GED, have a valid Ohio driver’s license, and are willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification. This on-site role requires flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with IDD.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.
• Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately.
• Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed.
• Transport clients to appointments, community outings, and recreational activities.
• Foster independence and community integration through skill-building activities.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members.

Requirements

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and person-centered approach
• Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
