Job summary

Champion Home Builder, Inc in Mansfield, Texas is seeking a Tape and Texture Wall Production Worker to join our plant team. You will work on the production line to build manufactured homes, focusing on drywall finishing inside the homes.

Under general supervision, you will apply mud on first and second coats with quality, read blueprints and orders, and collaborate with coworkers to stay safe and productive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired.

Responsibilities

• Flexibility and willingness to perform other duties in addition to tape and texture.
• Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned.
• Keeps area neat and clean.
• Must work well with others as a team and be able to take direction to accomplish goals.
• Highly productive & motivated with a sense of urgency to meet a demanding work schedule.
• Punctual with good attendance.
• Must pay particular attention to safety and quality.
• Read blueprints and orders
• Communicate well with coworkers

Summary Under General supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team and perform quality work in a fast-moving and consistent manner. Specifically applying Drywall Finishing skills to the interior of the homes.
