Sdc-of-Indian is seeking a Production Worker - Secondary to support multiple production areas on 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The role carries a starting pay of $19.15/hour and involves operating CNC mill and horizontal lathe, manual drill presses, tapping equipment, and packaging parts for shipment. You will coordinate with Shipping and Quality teams to ensure orders are prepped correctly and parts meet customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of scrap and containment control.
• Identify non-conforming parts and surface issues.
• Ability to use all check gauges designated for the area.
• Familiarity with customer product specifications.
• Strong communication with team members.
• Ability to run simple cycles on CNC machines.
• Ability to load parts into CNC machines per work instructions.
• Follow ISO work instructions for secondary processes.
• Able to lift 25 to 50 lbs.
• Proficient in operating Burnisher, Vibration Finishing Mills, and Shot Blast Machine.

Responsabilités

• Fill in for any position that has the most need in production.
• Troubleshoot and report issues with machinery to lead.

• Re-work parts to meet customer specs.
• Operate CNC mill and horizontal lathe.
• Clean workstation at shift end.
• Coordinate with Shipping Clerk to prep orders.
• Assist Shipping Clerk with shipments.
• Coordinate with Quality Manager to ensure product specs.

Production Worker - Secondary Job Description

Duties

• Fill in for any position that holds the most need for production
• Troubleshoot and communicate issues with the machinery to their lead
• Operating manual drill presses and tapping equipment
• Packaging parts for shipments
• Operating trim presses for castings
• Re-working parts if needed to meet customer specifications
• Operating CNC mill and horizontal lathe
• Clean workstation at the end of the shift
• Coordinate with Shipping Clerk to ensure orders are being prepped accordingly
• Assist Shipping Clerk with preparing shipments
• Coordinate with Quality Manager to ensure product meets specifications
