Responsibilities

• 100% visual inspection as required by job instructions and pass a written visual test.
• Belting, stoning, and buffing operations to remove visual and FPI imperfections.
• Perform a spot FPI test to ensure defects are removed.
• Maintain visual integrity, gauging, and repair of pitch, chord width, and trailing edge thickness.
• Dimensionally inspect and repair castings by hammering, arboring, twisting, stoning, belting, buffing, and drilling.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to provide high-quality, reliable products as per customer expectations.
• Maintain records as required and keep the work area clean, orderly, and safe.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE; report safety, health, and environmental concerns to supervisor.
• Verify calibration stickers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
• Operate electronic gauge as required.
• Read and understand finishing visual instructions.
• Verify routers are correct before starting work.

Training on 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6:30AM-230PM

New Hire Starting Hourly Rate: $25.00 After 12 Months:$27.71

POSITION OVERVIEW

Work cell Operators dimensionally inspect and repair castings and visually inspect casting to customer specifications.

ENVIORNMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITES

Expected to assist in the implementation of EHS Values and policy statements and accompanying principals.

Comply with all department, facility, corporate and regulatory EHS regulations.

Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Report all job related illness and injuries (Per Employee Handbook).

Report all safety, health and environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.

Attend all EHS training.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Performs 100% visual inspection as required per job instructions and pass a written visual test.

Performs belting, stoning, buffing operations to remove visual and FPI imperfections beyond customer specifications.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Good visual accuracy and strong hand eye coordination

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Frequent sitting and/or standing, weather dependent temperatures, manufacturing environment.

Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds

Use of gages, hand guns, belt machines and other measurement and finishing tools.
