Job summary

GDI, Inc. in Jackson, TN is seeking production workers for a factory role on the 3rd shift (10:00 pm – 6:30 am). You will verify counts, handle products, identify substandard items and rotate through various line positions to maintain quality and throughput.

The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, good organizational and communication skills, ability to follow safety rules and PPE protocols, and adherence to GMP practices. We offer an Equal Opportunity workplace.

Qualifications

• Place rejected products in designated piles or areas and adjust as needed to meet specifications
• Notify Supervisor of mechanical or material issues
• Rotate through various positions on the Appetizer line
• May assist in other areas of the plant as production demands
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Follow company policies, safety standards, and GMPs

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour 3rd shift [10:00 pm - 6:30 am]

Responsibilities:

• Verify count, look at, handle product, as required by its nature, to determine grade and identify substandard products as they pass down the conveyor line.
• Place rejected products and individual grades of products in designated piles, containers or areas. Add supplemental product in order to bring original product into specifications.
• Notify Supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
• Rotate through various positions on the Appetizer line
• May be directed to help out in other areas of the plant as required by production demands
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good manufacturing practices
• Must wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as provided
• Perform other duties and assignments as required
