Watteredge LLC in Avon Lake, OH seeks a dependable Production Worker - Grinder for 2nd shift. You will grind, deburr, and finish metal components to spec, using hand grinders and finishing equipment, while keeping safety and quality at the forefront.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1+ years of manufacturing, grinding, or metalworking experience.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move materials safely.

Responsabilités

• Grind, deburr, and finish metal components according to specifications.
• Operate hand grinders and other finishing equipment safely.
• Read and follow work instructions and basic drawings.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and proper finish.
• Use basic measuring tools as required.
• Identify and report defects or quality concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Assist with other production duties as needed.

Watteredge is seeking a dependable and motivated Production Worker - Grinder to join our second-shift manufacturing team. This hands-on position involves grinding and finishing metal components while maintaining Watteredge's standards for quality, safety, and productivity.

What You'll Do

• Grind, deburr, and finish metal components according to specifications.
• Operate hand grinders and other finishing equipment safely.
• Read and follow work instructions, job travelers, and basic drawings.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and proper finish.
• Use basic measuring and inspection tools as required.
• Identify and report defects or quality concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Assist with other production duties as needed.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 1 or more years of manufacturing, grinding, or metalworking experience preferred.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to perform repetitive, handson work in a manufacturing environment.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift and move materials as required.
