Silgan Containers in Rochelle, IL is seeking a Production General Laborer to support production and keep the facility running safely and efficiently. This hands-on role offers training across positions such as Forklift, Packer, Quality Analyst, Stacker and Sorter, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

You will follow safety policies, operate forklifts, and assist with maintenance, setup, and general plant upkeep.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsabilidades

• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Operate forklifts safely and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Assist with equipment installation, movement, assembly, and repair activities.
• Help with pallet repair, painting, housekeeping, and general plant upkeep.
• Maintain plant grounds, including mowing, trimming, trash removal, and snow removal.
• Identify and report equipment issues, leaks, or unsafe conditions.
