Champion Home Builders, Inc is seeking a Production Worker to join the Pembroke, NC team. You will be part of the production line building manufactured housing, performing quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Under general supervision, you will read blueprints, measure parts, use hand and power tools, and collaborate with coworkers to maintain safety and efficiency. Prior manufacturing exposure is a plus.

• Must be able to perform manual labor in a manufacturing environment.

Production Worker

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Summary Under General supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team, and perform quality work at a fast moving and consistent manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned.
• Keeps area neat and clean.
• Read and use a tape measure
• Read blue prints and orders
• Communicate well with coworkers
• Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools

• Must have a strong work ethic

• Must understand safety procedures
• Must have good teamwork skills

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired.
