Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking Production Helpers for our client, a San Luis Obispo area manufacturing company. Roles involve early-morning shifts (e.g., 2:00 AM start) with long hours and responsibilities across machine operation, mixing, oven work, and pan setting.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, pass a background screen, and work in a fast-paced environment. Shift information indicates 46–60 hours per week, with Sundays off on some schedules.

Qualifications

• Fast-paced production experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-1 years of production/food manufacturing exposure.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support machine operations (Machine Operator, Mixer, Oven Operator).
• Assist with pan setting, tray preparation, and related tasks.
• Adhere to Food Safety Plan, Food Quality Plan, and SQF/audits; report issues promptly.

Our client, a reputable manufacturing company in San Luis, has several immediate needs for Production Helpers to join their team on a variety of shifts.

Current openings

• Monday-Saturday, 2am-2pm, Sundays Off. (Hours are a range. Will work between 8-12 hours per day. Total weekly hours will be ~50-60 per week.)

Responsibilities

• Will perform various duties including, Machine Operator, Mixer, Oven Operator, Pan Setter, Trayer, etc.
• Responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring.
• Responsible for following and enforcing procedures outlined in the Food Safety Plan and the Food Quality Plan and any other programs that support the SQF system and other 3rd party audits.

Working hours

Working hours: 2:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Skills

Able to work in a fast-paced environment and must also adapt to frequent changes that occur on the production line.
