Job summary

Stratas Foods, Inc. is seeking an entry-level manufacturing associate for a Sunday-Thursday shift (10:00 pm–6:30 am) with potential overtime and weekend work. Duties include general housekeeping, material handling, painting, lubrication, sample retrieval, power washing, and forklift operation.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and basic computer/data-entry skills. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, and work in a dynamic manufacturing

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Basic computer skills and data entry.

Responsibilities

• General housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming and painting.
• Lubrication of equipment (oiling, greasing, etc.).
• Sample retrieval and power washing.
• Lifting and hauling items up and down stairs; operate a motorized forklift.
• Learn and perform various duties as assigned, including temporary vacancies.

Job Description

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday (10:00pm-6:30am) with some weekend work and OT.

This is an entry level position on the manufacturing floor. Qualified candidates must be able to perform a variety of jobs, tasks, or duties as required; and must be able to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as required.

The tasks required, but not limited to, are general housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.), sample retrieval, power washing, lifting and hauling items up and down stairs, dump rework, and operate a motorized fork lift and a variety of other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Related Experience: Previous relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Equipment/Software Skills: Basic computer knowledge - data entry

• Be active and participate in efficiency and safety improvement teams
• Learn and follow written rules and procedures
• Maintain acceptable attendance
• Must be willing and able to learn various positions
• Must fill in when needed in temporary/permanent vacancies.
