Job summary

Stahl-Meyer Foods, Inc. in New York State is seeking production workers to operate in two shifts: 7am-5:30pm and 2:30pm-Midnight. You will pack goods, apply labels, and ensure paperwork tracks production. A focus on safety and teamwork is required.

On-the-job training is provided; benefits include health and dental insurance, life insurance, 6 paid holidays, vacation after 1 year and after 5 years, with opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and safety.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift at least 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Performs work as assigned by Plant Manager/Department Supervisor and Line Leader.
• Pack finished goods into correct packaging and boxes.
• Attach labels and tags to products and packages.
• Place finished goods on pallets and track production on corresponding paperwork.
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other related duties as required.
• All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production as required.

• Pack finished goods into correct packaging and boxes.
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
• Place finished goods on designated pallets and track production on corresponding paperwork.
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
• All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production as required to meet the demands of production.

Qualification/Requirements

• Excellent attention to detail and safety
• Works well in a team environment.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a cold environment.
