Job summary

• Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management.
• Follow all written and verbal instructions.
• Attend all safety and production trainings.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

SUPERVISES: There are no direct reports associated with this position.

Position Summary:Under general supervision. The Production Worker performs production work in a warehouse environment. Employees in this job class assemble, kits and co-packs product in a timely fashion while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. Operates equipment such as, ink jet, pallet jack, conveyor belt, case sealer, etc. Performs physical tasks that are repetitive.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Maneuvering in and around equipment
• Bending and stooping
• Pushing carts up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
• Using a pallet jack
• Lifting boxes or equipment up to 40 pounds

WORK ENVIORMENT:Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with forklifts and production equipment. Employees may be exposed to noise from equipment in a manufacturing environment and may be exposed to elevated temperatures, high heat, occasional fumes, toxic chemicals, and airborne particles.
