Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. in California is seeking a dependable member of the front line production team to support the high capacity commercial laundry plant and meet customer needs.

The role may involve operating the dryer, washer, stain washer, and performing sewing/mending, soil sorting, folding, ironing, packing and distributing tasks. You will follow directions, maintain production standards, and alert supervisors to issues that affect output.

Qualifications

• Operates laundry equipment following standard procedures.
• Sorts soils and loads according to guidelines.
• Performs folding, ironing and packing to distribute goods.
• Adheres to safety rules and production targets.

Responsibilities

• Maintains flow of linen into the tunnel, washers, dryers, etc.
• Pulls bags and/or processes other laundry activities in the designated order.
• Loads linen into empty pockets in tunnel; continues to do so as pockets transfer.
• Keeps pockets loaded correctly with proper load size; prevents overload.
• Follows directions and safety precautions.
• Maintains the production standards as determined per hour.
• Notifies supervisor if frequent technical problems are impacting the ability to meet production standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The type of work performed could be related to the following: Dryer Operator, Wash Operator, Stain Washer, Sewing/Mending, Soil Sorting, as well as folding, commercial ironing, packing and distributing.
