Job summary

AEM is hiring for an on-site manufacturing/warehouse role at our Hayward, CA location. This position involves performing a variety of production operations, operating machinery, and maintaining quality control in a rotating duties environment.

Starting pay is $23.43 per hour with a planned increase to $24.18 after a 90-day probation. Shift is 4 days of 10 hours (Mon-Thu, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.). Union membership in Teamsters Local 853 is required.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand manufacturing instructions.
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis.
• Surface Mount Soldering skills, preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of previous work experience in a warehouse or Electronics/Manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to lift, bend, twist, walk, and reach frequently.
• Must be able to stand and perform repetitious duties for long periods.

Additional Information

• This is an on-site opportunity that must be done from our location in Hayward, CA
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. H1-B and green card sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position is part of the Teamsters Local 853 union and requires membership.
• Starting pay is $23.43 (After 90-day probation, pay increases to $24.18)
• Shift: 4 10-hour days (Mon-Thursday 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.)
• Must become a member of the Teamsters Local 853 union
