Job summary

Tindall Corporation in Cedartown, GA is seeking hands-on team members to support the production of concrete precast members. You will place steel, strand, and concrete, strip and clean beds, and follow safety and quality rules to maintain high-quality output.

The role focuses on practical fabrication tasks, equipment handling, and collaboration with the manufacturing team to ensure smooth pours and efficient operations.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Place steel, strand, and concrete in bed as necessary for the production of a concrete member.
  • Strip and clean bed for next pour. All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.
  • Receive instructions, roll torches, steel and tool buggies to bed and unload them.
  • Uncover bed, remove sided forms, detentions’ bed, remove bulkheads, remove block outs and cutbacks with railroad bar, clean and oil bed.
  • Lay out rebar, plates, loops, channel, and insulations, etc.
  • Pull strand, threading bulkheads, block outs, frames and dead man, and cut strand with grinder and place chucks on ends.
  • Place and tie rebar, loops, stem and flange wire, chair flange wire, and place form and side plates.
  • Prepare for pour, blow out bed with air hose and receive pouring tools.
  • Receive concrete, hook up air hoses, spread and vibrate concrete with spud vibrator, vibra trak, or vibrating screed.
  • Place insulation and C ties in bed, if applicable, scrape rails, sweep up excess concrete around bed, collect all tools and materials, and put them away in tool chest or return to warehouse.
