Job summary

Vestis in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a laundry associate to perform safe, expeditious, and accurate handling of merchandise in an industrial laundry setting. You will operate washers and dryers, verify batch tickets, monitor moisture levels, and ensure items are properly cooled.

The role requires basic math, the ability to follow instructions, and good teamwork and attendance. OT may be required and shifts vary. High school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Includes ability to understand training materials and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Proficient in basic math for recording weights and batch data.

Responsibilities

• Check machine safety devices before operating equipment and record safety forms.
• Load and unload washers/dryers, stage batches by lot and batch ticket.
• Enter batch ticket data into the system and verify weights.
• Ensure items are properly moisture tested and cooled after washing/drying.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and adhere to safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
