Job summary

Pilgrim is seeking a production team member in Denver, CO to support daily operations on the production line. You will place products on the dock, verify tray counts, and replenish as needed while maintaining strict cleanliness and safety standards.

The role requires consistent attendance, strong English communication, and experience with production processes. Eligibility for union benefits and a range of company-sponsored programs is included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Significant experience in production processes.
• Must attend work consistently.
• Knowledge of knife sharpening a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Place product on the dock and verify tray counts.
• Replenish inventory as needed and track usage.
• Turn in original idents to production clerk.
• Wash and sanitize utensils at day end.
• Ensure tools and supplies are available and safe.
• Maintain safe equipment handling and proper storage.
• Report issues to Lead promptly.
• Adhere to safety rules and practices.
• Support SQF System improvements and compliance.

Job description

• Responsible for placing product on the dock.
• Verify tray counts and replenish as necessary.
• Calculate usage of product and turn in original idents to production clerk.
• At days end responsible to wash and sanitize utensils.
• Ensure all tools and supplies needed to get the job done are available
• Make sure all equipment being taken apart is being done safely and properly and that equipment is stored properly
• Notify Lead when issues arise
• Responsible for sanitation of work areas
• Assures compliance with all company safety rules
• Follow and monitor proper safety equipment usage and safety practices
• Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements.
• Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the SQF System.
• Accountable to Denver Processing Food Safety and Quality Principles.
• In case of an absence another employee with the same qualifications and training will replace that individual.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Ability to speak, read, and write English Language
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Significant experience in production process
• Must attend work consistently
• Knowledge of knife sharpening
• Considerable knowledge of production processes and work requirements
• Display strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work in cooperation with others

Physical Requirements:

• Standing, walking, bending, lifting, stooping, crouching, kneeling intermittently.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Be able to work in a cold environment
