Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking an Utility Worker to load/unload raw materials and finished products, and to maintain plant cleanliness and equipment. The role includes handling materials, operating or assisting production machinery, inspecting products for quality, and relocating materials as needed.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and be at least 18 with a clean MVR. Travel to off-site locations is required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old with clean MVR.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
• Operate production machinery or assist machine operators.
• Inspect and wrap products for processing.
• Move finished products or raw materials between storage and work areas.
• Maintain plant and equipment cleanliness and safety.
• Monitor equipment for malfunctions and report issues.
