Job summary

Rich Products Corporation in New Britain, PA is seeking a Utility Associate for the 1st shift to support the production team on the manufacturing line. The role requires lifting, equipment operation, and adherence to GMP and safety standards.

You will unpack and pack ice cream cakes, set up materials and tools, and help maintain a clean, safe work area while complying with hygiene guidelines and food safety protocols. Prior sanitation/utility experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read, write and communicate about work instructions and safety information written in English.
• Must have the ability to write simple correspondence and effectively communicate information to customers, other employees, and vendors.
• Ability and desire to train other associates.
• Previous sanitation/utility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in GMP compliance.
• Adhere to GMP hygiene practices.
• Unpacking & packing of ice cream cakes.
• Setup of materials and tools for production.
• Follow food safety protocols and identify/correct hazards.
• Operate material handling equipment.
• Trash removal and line cleanliness.
• Provide coverage in other departments when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
