Job summary

Mission Linen Supply is seeking a Production Staff member to support industrial laundry production flow under the supervision of the Production Supervisor/Manager. The role offers full-time employment with benefits and starts at $18.16 per hour, with starting pay based on education, experience, and location.

The Production Staff will operate press equipment, process laundry in lot order, and maintain distribution on the production floor.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience working with plant equipment/machinery highly desired.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate press equipment.
  • Process laundry in plant established lot order.
  • Maintain production floor distribution.
  • Shake, sort by route and sequence by route while laying out items prior to pressing.
  • Classify and lay out items for pressing.
  • Separate soil pickup tickets.
  • Check for needed repairs on items.
  • Lift garments and/or linen onto line storage system.
  • Trolley garments and/or linen for truck pickup.
  • Load trollies into trailers.
  • Ensure colleagues practice safety procedures at all times.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Mission Linen Supply is currently accepting online applications for Production Staff. The Production Staff is responsible for industrial laundry production flow activities under the direction of the Production Supervisor and/or Production Manager of the operating plant.

The Production Staff pay is $18.16 an hour; the starting pay is based on education, experience, other qualifications, and location of assignment.

Qualifications
  • Must be able to work in a fast place environment
  • Must have the ability to stand for long term periods of time
  • Required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
  • Required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25-50 pounds
