Job summary

Wis-Pak is seeking a proactive Training Lead at our Hattiesburg, MS site to grow employee skills and drive performance. You will lead site-wide training, mentor Receiving, Production, Warehouse and Shipping teams, and certify staff on Job Instructions (JIs) and performance standards.

You will also work on the production floor to support output, model safety and quality behaviors, and keep training certifications current while collaborating with Engineering to ensure proper tools and visual

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Player-coach mindset capable of teaching, leading, and doing.
• Strong communication skills for training diverse teams.
• Technical proficiency in validating and auditing Job Instructions (JIs).
• Experience in training within industrial or manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-wide training initiatives to grow employee skills and confidence.
• Mentor teams across Receiving, Production, Warehouse, and Shipping.
• Audit and certify employees on Job Instructions and performance standards.
• Support output on the production floor and troubleshoot in real time.
• Model top-tier safety and quality behaviors and maintain certifications.
• Conduct training audits to ensure long-term comprehension and compliance.
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to ensure tooling and visual controls are in place.
• Drive engaging onboarding for new hires and reinforce company culture and safety standards.
