Job summary

Milo’s Tea Company in Alabama is seeking a Production Trainee to join our growing plant team. You will operate production machinery, manually handle goods, and support line operators while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires physical capability, adherence to GMP, and willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed. You will contribute to a culture that values people, learning, and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to follow GMP and safety guidelines.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate all production machinery including forklifts, pallet jacks, hoses, etc.
  • Manually handle cased goods around manufacturing area.
  • Follow all safety rules and requirements and GMP guidelines.
  • Weigh and prepare raw materials for processing.
  • Provide coverage for line operators during assigned rest periods.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area.
  • Work with fellow operators as a team to achieve safety, quality, and production goals.
  • Assist maintenance with troubleshooting equipment problems.
  • Perform general housekeeping and plant clean up as needed.
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required.
  • This position has responsibilities related to Food Safety and Quality.
  • Uphold and participate in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy and MMAD volunteering opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
