Responsibilities

  • Welding Operations & Fabrication: Own welding tasks and ensure components meet specifications and tolerances.
  • Perform MIG, TIG, or other welding processes per production and engineering requirements.
  • Interpret blueprints and work instructions to complete welding tasks correctly.
  • Prepare materials, set up equipment, and position components for welding.
  • Ensure welds meet structural, dimensional, and quality requirements across production runs.
  • Quality Control & Equipment Maintenance: Inspect welds for quality and safety; identify defects and perform rework as needed.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools for safe operation.
  • Record production output, quality results, and rework activities in tracking systems.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance welding quality and productivity.

About The Role

The Production Welder performs welding operations to fabricate and assemble components to required specifications. The role executes welding tasks, ensures product quality, and supports production schedules. The position contributes to safe operations, structural integrity, and efficient manufacturing processes

What You’ll Do
  • Welding Operations & Fabrication
  • Own welding tasks ensuring components are fabricated accurately to required specifications and tolerances.
  • Perform MIG, TIG, or other welding processes based on production and engineering requirements.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to complete welding assignments correctly.
  • Prepare materials, set up welding equipment, and position components for welding operations.
  • Ensure welds meet structural, dimensional, and quality requirements consistently across production runs.
  • Quality Control & Equipment Maintenance
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Identify defects such as cracks, porosity, or incomplete fusion and perform rework as needed.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Record production output, quality results, and rework activities accurately in tracking systems.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance welding quality and production efficiency
Additional Expectations
  • Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
  • Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
  • Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
  • Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.
