PRODUCTION TEST TECHNICIAN (STARLINK)

SpaceX is leveraging our experience building rockets and spacecraft to deploy Starlink, the world's largest satellite constellation and most advanced broadband internet system. As a Production Test Technician on the Starlink team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of Starlink products through manufacturing and test.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support production in critical SMT lines-down events
• Wire and assemble ATE during new SMT line bring-up
• Perform PCB solder rework and hand assembly
• Troubleshoot first pass yield issues
• Assemble cable harnesses and install in test racks
• Develop mechanical fixturing solutions
• Assess production compliance to company and industry standards

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 1+ years of experience working in a production, mechanical, or manufacturing environment

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ years of test experience in a manufacturing environment
• Associate's degree in a technical or engineering field
• Experience working with root cause/corrective action systems
• Self-motivated, proactive, and experience managing multiple priorities and tasks
• Practical experience working within quality management systems (ISO 9001)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends, as needed
• Must be willing to work one of the followingshifts upon completion of training:
• Monday-Friday: 1st shift (8:00am-6:00pm) or 2nd shift (3:00pm-1:00am)
• Schedule may vary depending on site operational needs and flexibility is required regarding overtime and weekend support
• Ability to perform job duties that require standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting upper body, and lifting up to 25 lbs. unassisted
• Must be willing to work onsite in Bastrop, TX - remote work not considered
