PDS Tech Commercial, partnering with a leader in aviation and aerospace, is seeking a Production Test Technician in Ronkonkoma, NY. This on-site, 12-month full-time contract position involves testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining production assemblies and units.

You’ll set up test apparatus, lay out and assemble test units, modify equipment, and troubleshoot malfunctions while following established procedures. Eligible candidates must obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Support outdoor work activities as needed throughout different seasons.
• Collaborate with team members and adapt to changing priorities and daily responsibilities.

Position Details

• Job Title: Production Test Technician

• Job Type: Full-Time, 12-Month Contract
• Pay Rate: $46.73 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9/80A schedule, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Work Location: On-site
• Opportunity: This position is intended to be contract-to-hire; however, conversion to direct employment is not guaranteed

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities

As a Production Test Technician, you’ll play an important role in testing, evaluating, troubleshooting, and maintaining production assemblies and units. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of plumbing and fabrication techniques, including tube bending, flaring, and pipe fabrication.
• Previous experience operating forklifts.
• Hands‑on experience in a production, testing, fabrication, manufacturing, aerospace, or similarly technical environment.

Pay Details:

$46.73 per hour
