Job summary

Qualifications

• 5 years flight experience as a professional pilot in aviation industry.
• 1500 hours total flight time, or 1000 hours Pilot-in-Command of turbine powered aircraft.
• Gulfstream GVII & GVIII experience preferred; CFI and Functional Test Pilot experience preferred.
• ATPL required upon hire; Gulfstream type rating preferred upon hire.
• Must maintain FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Operate Gulfstream aircraft domestically and internationally (when qualified) in support of Airborne Customer Support, corporate transportation, customer accommodation, demonstration, Gulfstream maintenance, production test, and other functions as assigned.
• Possess a broad knowledge and understanding of flight operations.
• Communicate with Gulfstream personnel to facilitate effective support of Gulfstream and our Customers.
• Coordinate assessment and repair of aircraft issues with Corporate Maintenance, Production/Completion, and Technical Operations as needed.
• Proactively assist Gulfstream Dispatch with planning and coordination of flight activity.
• Manage the safe and efficient conduct of all assigned flight activities.
• Strive to be a positive brand ambassador for Gulfstream and General Dynamics.
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Job description

Production Test Pilot in GAC St. Louis (CPS)

Previous Gulfstream experience with GVII & GVIII type ratings, CFI and Functional Test Pilot experience preferred. Must be able to maintain an FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate.

Under the direction of the Chief Production Test Pilot and/or Senior Production Test Pilot, conduct flight test evaluations of production aircraft, engines, avionics systems, and other related systems to assure that aircraft are in accordance with existing design and performance specifications.

Education And Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 5 years flight experience as a professional pilot in aviation industry required.. 1500 hours total flight time, or 1000 hours Pilot-in-Command of turbine powered aircraft. Gulfstream type rating preferred.. ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) Upon Hire required. Other 1st Class FAA Medical Certificate Upon Hire required.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

• In accordance with Gulfstream Flight Operations FOM/SOP, as crew, domestically and internationally (when qualified), operate Gulfstream aircraft in support of Airborne Customer Support (ACS), corporate transportation, customer accommodation, demonstration, Gulfstream maintenance, production test, and any other functions as assigned .
• Must possess a broad knowledge and understanding of flight operations .
• Communicate with Gulfstream personnel to facilitate effective support of Gulfstream and our Customers .
• Manage and execute any assigned ancillary responsibilities .
• Adhere to Gulfstream corporate policies, department Flight Operations Manual (FOM) policies and procedures .
• Effectively coordinate the assessment and repair of aircraft issues with Corporate Maintenance, Production/Completion, and Technical Operations as needed .

Additional Functions
