Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of meter testing or related technical experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safe work practices and quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and remove piping configurations based on test specifications.
• Prepare components and products for testing in accordance with engineering specifications, test plans, and work instructions.
• Conduct production and development testing and accurately record results.
• Assemble and disassemble production meter test kits within facility test housings.
• Assist with routine master meter verification utilizing small volume provers.
• Support atypical production testing required to meet customer requirements.
• Perform daily safety walks and participate in monthly safety inspections.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Cooperate with and support other departments utilizing FRTC resources.
• Identify, correct when possible, and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Adhere to all safety, quality, environmental, and company policies and procedure.
• Performs all duties of Code 9, plus: fluid changes on multi-viscosity test systems; system valve testing to verify seal integrity.
